Denny Nichols Memorial Garden

The Denny Nichols Memorial Garden at Carriage Town Ministries has served our residents and the surrounding community since 2010. It provides not only food, but an opportunity to learn gardening skills from trained volunteers. Many gardening programs are offered to the residents and children staying at Carriage Town Ministries. In our Children's Garden Playground, we have a fun and safe place for CTM kids and the community to play and learn about gardening! Gardeners have planted various garden beds around the children's playground to teach kids how to care for plants, about healthy eating habits and the importance of caring for the environment!

The proceeds from the sale of bricks provides programming for the men, women and children living at Carriage Town Ministries.

Honor a Loved One

For a $50, $100, or $200 donation, a brick can be engraved in honor of a loved one, to show support, a special gift, or to acknowledge a group, business, or church, etc.

Children’s Garden Playground

Yes. It’s 2 in 1! Thanks to our partners and friends we have a fun and safe place for CTM kids and the community to play and learn about gardening! The Flint Master Gardeners have planted various garden beds around the playground to teach kids how to care for plants, healthy eating habits and the importance of caring for the environment!
